The short version: The PricePilot Stripe app stores none of your data outside Stripe. Migrate Pro connects with a restricted key that we never store or log. Our website uses standard analytics, and if you choose to give us your email, we store it only to follow up with you. Details below.
Who we are
PricePilot ("we," "us") is operated by PricePilot LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. We offer two products, the PricePilot Stripe app and PricePilot Migrate Pro, plus this website. They handle data differently, so each is described below.
The PricePilot Stripe app
The app runs inside your Stripe Dashboard and does its work through the Stripe API using your Dashboard session, so your subscription, price and customer data is read and written directly in your own Stripe account and does not pass through our servers. We have no database, so none of it is stored on our side. The app does call one endpoint of ours (api.pricepilot.cloud) for two things only: checking whether your account has an active PricePilot subscription, and starting a checkout session if you choose to subscribe. That exchange carries your Stripe account id and nothing else. Within your own account, the app reads and writes:
- Subscriptions — to display current prices and apply or schedule price changes
- Customers — to list active subscriptions associated with a customer
- Prices & Products — to display available prices and, in Create & Migrate, create new prices, archive old ones, and update product defaults
- Subscription Schedules — to apply price changes at a future billing date
No subscription, customer, or account data is stored by us or sent to a third party. It stays between your Stripe Dashboard and the Stripe API.
PricePilot Migrate Pro
Migrate Pro is a web tool you connect to with your own restricted Stripe API key. When you run an action, your key and the request travel over HTTPS to our backend (hosted on Vercel) and are used, in the moment, to read and change subscriptions in your Stripe account exactly as you approve.
- Your API key is never stored and never logged. It is used for the duration of each request and not retained afterward. For abuse protection, a short prefix of the key is held in memory for up to 60 seconds to count requests against a rate limit; it is never written to disk.
- We do not retain your subscription or customer data. It is processed transiently to perform the migration you requested, then discarded.
- If you download an impact report (CSV), it is generated in your browser and saved to your device, not to us.
This website
Our marketing site (pricepilot.cloud) works like a normal website:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, general location, device, and anonymous usage events). This uses cookies and helps us improve the product and site.
- Email you provide. If you submit your email (for example, to reveal a Migrate Pro forecast), we store it — through our forms provider, Netlify — so we can follow up about the product. We don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Third-party services we use
- Stripe — payment processing and the platform our tools operate on.
- Vercel — hosts the Migrate Pro backend.
- Netlify — hosts this website and handles form submissions.
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
Each has its own privacy practices. We share only what's necessary for these services to function.
Children's privacy
PricePilot is a business tool intended for use by Stripe account holders. It is not directed at or intended for use by children under the age of 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the app listing and this page will be updated with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
